What I found in my bed today

I went into my room to fold and put away laundry and I found this in my bed using my pillow...

Can you tell we have one spoiled dog??? She loves to use my pillows when I am not in bed. Since it was been so hot I have been leaving the fan on that is by my side of the bed and the sun comes in the window and makes that side warm so she lays there whenever she feels like it.

In other news we got some rain tonight and are supposed to get some more tomorrow. I am hoping that we get a lot so it will wash away all of the dust that the wind brought us.

I did get my last big unemployment check this week and will get a small one next week (which both are already going to be gone in a matter of days) and am STILL trying to talk to someone at EDD. From what I have read online I can file for an extension which is supposed to last for 20 weeks, but what do we do for the time between the last small check and the next one? I guess we will be eating alot of mac n cheese or Top Ramen.

I also just heard on the news that United Airlines is laying off a bunch more people. I sure hope that our new President can turn this around pretty quickly!!! I do have to say that while I was originally not a supported of his I did enjoy his speach yesterday and what he said made me very glad to have him for President and he completely changed my mind about him.
