2 posts ago I told a story about a girl that Gretchen and I used to work with at Mann Theatres. Her name was Heidi, aka Hot Dog Head. Gretchen said that I should share the shopping cart story, but first I should probably explain why we call her Hot Dog Head or HDH for short.
One day we had gotten our supply at the theatre and HDH was putting away the boxes of hot dogs that we had recieved. These boxes were not really light, the each had 50 frozen hot dogs in them. Well HDH somehow dropped and box of hot dogs on her head, nothing happened to her head but the box had a huge dent in it so of course it was only natural that we call her hot dog head, actually I think it was our manager at the time who came up with that name.
One night HDH and I were at the theatre, I don't think we were working just hanging out, anyway we found a shopping cart from Best, which was the store next to us, and HDH decided to climb in it. Me being the fun person that I am decided to push her really fast down the sidewalk and she flew off the curb and the shopping cart fell over. I di have a picture of her in the cart I just have no idea where it is. It was the funniest thing to see though. She looked really stupid.
Another time HDH was cleaning a theatre with some other employees and she decided to jump into the trash can to stomp the trash down and somehow slipped and she and the trash can went rolling down the aisle. Of course the other people found it hysterical and she was mad that they said anything to the rest of us.
Another funny story from the theatre...I was working the box office one night and a guy came out of the mens restroom, nothing funny about that part. When I looked at the guy again I realized that he had toliet paper sticking out of his pants. The best thing was the toliet paper was still attached to the roll inside the stall in the bathroom. Of course I was laughing so hard that I couldn't speak. The manangers on duty were in the box office with me and saw it at the same time I did and were laughing so much that they were practically sitting on the floor. Another employees dad happened to be there that night and he ran after the man and told him about what was sticking out of his pants. The customer started laughing and rolled the toliet paper back up as he walked back into the bathroom. He also thought it was pretty funny too!
I can't think of any more stories right now, but I think Gretchen and I should get together and write down all of the things that happened there.

A Sunday Drive.....
Yesterday we hoped in the car and drove north on the 101. Up through the tunnel....
And past many signs that looked like this one.
We saw a group of horses surrounding a tree, there was also some cows along the side of the freeway but their pictures were blurry.
Our destination was to see Jon, Mychele and the boys in Pismo where they are vacationing for the next few days. Here is Travis and Evan playing in the back of the van.
And Brett with his bright blue eyes.
At one point all 4 kids were laying under the table watching a movie. Evan was escaping right as I took the picture but you can see his feet leaving on the left.
And Brett showed off his 3D glasses.
Then we ate some dinner and headed down to the beach.
Travis and Theresa played on the swings.
There was a very pretty sunset, but it was freezing down there!!

Top Gun....A tribute to my cousin Meghan...
I just read on my cousin Meghan's blog tht she just watched Top Gun for the first time EVER. First thing out of my mouth of course is "Where the hell have you been?" I have seen Top Gun so many times that I could probably repeat the whole thing!! Anyway I posted a comment on Meghan's blog about her not watching the movie before and agreed with my Aunt Heather that Rick Rossovich was the hottie in that movie and that my 2 favorite parts are when Maverick and Goose fly upside down over the mig and "give him the birdie" and when they are singing in the bar, a classic spot in the movie. Oh wait I also LOVE the volleyball scene!!! Half naked men playing valleyball, you can't get much better than that! Anyway I was going to tell her the story of Gretchen and I singing You've lost that lovin feeling on the comment but told her that I would post on my blog.
Back when Gretchen and I worked at Mann Theatres we worked with a girl named Heidi who we LOVED to torture. When she would work in the box office Gretchen and I would go in and say "She's lost that lovin feeling" and then we would break into song. It was greta Heidi hated it and would try to run away but we always had her cornered in the box office and she could not go anywhere. When Gretchen got married I ended my speech with "she's lost that lovin feeling" and then we played the song. Of course the people that were at the wedding that knew about this story started to laugh and those that didn't we had to explain it to.
So Meghan now that you have watched Top Gun, it may be time to introduce you to other great 80's movies. Anyone have any to suggest to her? I am going to go through my collection of movies and come up with a list, which I will post later.

Disneyland fun...
On Thursday 4/16 Gretchen and I took Travis to Disneyland. We had one very excited boy!! He got to make Gretchen sick on the teacups.
And tried to pull the sword out of the stone. I have a picture of his doing this with Uncle Jeremy when he was just a year old. I will have to find it and scan it into the computer.
He got to drive Goofy's boat.
And ride in the back seat of Big Thunder Mountain, which is now his new favorite ride!
He really did not want to go on Pinnochio, but Gretchen and I did and I wanted Gretchen to hear it say jackass, which of course we did not hear that part this time as it was not timed right for us. Yes a Disneyland ride says jackass, I have heard it myself!
We played on the Pirate Island, which used to be Tom Sawyer's Island.
Travis found a chest to sit on in a cave.
And he played in the cage of bones from Pirates 2.
We had a very good day and one tired boy. Once we hit the freeway he was out in about 5 minutes. I got him back to his grandma's house where he was spending the night because he was on spring break and he woke up long enough to change into jammies and was out again before his head hit the pillow. I do think that we did wear us out first at Disneyland but once the adults had dinner we were good enough to drive home. I do love having an annual pass because then I don't feel like I have to hit every ride when I am there because I know that I can always go back.

A few pictures from Theresa's birthday party.
Theresa LOVES Minnie Mouse so we bought her 2 of them. The kid tore through her gifts pretty quick and so I did not get a lot of good pictures of her with them, but this is one of the Minnie Mouses that we got her. The other is Minnie in a wedding dress which she told me that she is going to take to school on Friday for share day. She also loves Hannah Montana so she wanted a Hannah party.
She wanted me to take her picture so she could see herself useing the hula hoop. She did get her own hula hoop for her birthday and it even lights up!! I wanted to play with it myself.
Yes she does have a strange look on her face. I think she was concentrating.

Happy Birthday...
Tomorrow (April 11th) is my wonderful Aunt Linda's Birthday and it is also my brother in law Matt's Birthday. We are heading off to the wonderful land of Disneyland tomorrow since Matt gets in free. The kids are excited to see their dad have fun for his birthday. They have been going over the Disneyland map and making a list of everything they want to do. Theresa told her teachers at school that her dad will be turning 25 tomorrow. Of course I had to laugh because Matt is only a month older than I am and if he is turning 25 then that means that I will be turning 25 next month!!! Thanks Theresa for making us younger!!

Have you ever...
Have you ever had a song stuck in your head and it won't go away? I borrowed the Twilight Soundtrack from my sister and I have 2 of the songs stuck in my head!!!! No matter what other song I listen to I still have the same ones running through my head.
We are supposed to get some good rain tomorrow. I am hoping that it is enough to wash away the dirt outside and maybe even get some off of my car.

House is falling apart.....
My house is falling apart!!! I need a new garbage disposal and the cheapest one I havefound is $100 and now it looks like I need a new dish washer!! Somedays I wish that we could just tear down this place and put in a brand new one, but that costs way to much money so for now we will just deal with the broken things. At least we have a new washer and dryer, it would be nice if we could wash the dishes in those also.
I am very excited for next Tuesday. Deadliest Catch season 5 starts then!!! For the past few days Discovery channel has been playing episodes from the past 4 seasons (I do own Seasons 1,2 & 3 and am waiting for season 4 to come out on dvd)!!

Shopping and Movie review
I got to take my 2 youngest cousins (Caitlin and Evann) shopping yesterday! They are great to shop with they know exactly what they want and where to get it. It was great to spend time with them and I can't believe how quickly they are growing up!!!
Last night Jeremy and I went and saw Fast and Furious 4. what a great movie. It was so much better than the 2nd and 3rd, maybe because it ha Vin Desil in it and more muscle cars instead of the rice rocket street racing cars.
