Stuck in bed

So while Halloween was fun, I will get pictures up later, after I got home from trick or treating was not fun. Jeremy had been in bed all day not feeling good. He was running a fever and could not breath very well. So off we went to the er. Surprisingly they were not very busy for a Saturday night. we got taken back almost right away but were stuck there for almost 3 hours. As it turns out he has the flu and wouldn't you know it i woke up Sunday with it. I went to work Monday for about 20 minutes and had to come home I was running a fever and felt horrible. I went to urgent care today, since I do not hve insurance yet, and was told that I also have the flu, however since almost every person they have tested for the swine flu has come up positive they are no longer testng for that and just assuming that if you have the flu then you have the dreaded swine flu. Yep I get to say it...we have the swine flu....and wow it is bad. Jerey had to get 2 breathing treatments in the er and one today at his doctor's appointment and I had to get one while I was at the doctor. We are both on tamiflu, which is cheap for him with his insurance but is $93 for me. We both got an inhaler, which again is cheap for him but almost $50 for me and I got some lovely cough syrup with codiene in it to help with the coughing. Jeremy gets to go back to work on Monday and I am not allowed to go back until Tuesday. Of course since I just started my job I do not have any sick time, this of course could not happen once I had insurance and sick time, so I get to miss 6 days of work which means 6 days of pay, which means we get to struggle once again this month to make ends meet. I am not sure why once we start to feel like we are getting ahead stuff like this has to happen. Oh well I am off to bed since my medicine has kicked in and I need to get as much sleep as possible.
