What's for Dinner.......

I hate trying to figure out what we are going to have for dinner. I don't feel like cooking even though I am home all day. We even went to the grocery store last night but did we buy anything for dinner?? Nope we bought junk food. So what are we having for dinner? Who knows, I guess we will figure that out when Jeremy gets home.

Legoland again...

We went to Legoland on Saturday. We had a pretty good time and the weather was decent, not to hot and not to cold.

Travis and Theresa tried to battle Darth Vader. I think he might have won...

Theresa made an Ogre friend, Travis wanted nothing to do with him.

Travis got to drive me around in a Lego boat. Theresa and Grandma were in front of us and Travis wanted to catch up so he could ram them.

Theresa got to drive a car and even got a licsense. Travis drove a car on the big kid track and also got a licsense. I took a picture of him last time we where there so I had to watch Theresa this time.




We went for a ride on this creepy helicopter thing that went way up high and then spun around. Travis did not seem that thrilled to be on it.

Travis went to Legoland jail. I told him that his parents need one of these at home so when he gets in trouble he can go to jail instead of going into the naughty corner. He did not like that idea. There are still some rides at Legoland that we want to go on. We are going to go back there again at least one more time this summer. We got 3 month passes from Costco.

Oxnard Strawberry Festival

On Sunday May 18th we went to the Strawberry Festival. I remember going during one of the first yeard Oxnard has it and it was nothing like it is now. There was free rides for the kids to go on, but because they are free the lines can be long. It was a super hot day so we did not stay long. We did get to have our yearly Strawberry Pizza, which is really good. This year Gold Coast did the security so Jeremy had to work there both days. Theresa was very excited to see her Uncle Dude at work.

The kids went on a few rides and we got to see the Budweiser horses. I always forget how big they are. Hoepfully when the fair gets here we can see them again. We got to pet one last year.

This is Theresa on a ride, she was very excited. We had a fun day, to bad it was one of the hotest days we have had so far.

Happy Birthday Laina!!

I stole these pictures from my Aunt Heather's blog. Sorry Heather!!! This cute girl is my cousin Laina and the red headed boy is my little brother Joseph. Laina had this crazy thing for Joseph and if you can tell by the look on his face he did not like it. Anyway Laina turns 25 today...at least I think it is today. How did she get that old?? These kids having birthday's are making me feel old!!

I was so happy last night to see that David Cook won American Idol!!! He deserved it much more than the other little boy, who I personally could not stand. I am looking forward to David Cook to putting out a CD. Hopefully he sounds as good as he does in the below video. This was his performance that made me love him!!!

Happy Birthday Evann!!!

Happy Birthday to my favorite youngest cousin Evann (her b-day was 5/19/08, so yes I am a day late!!) This cute girl is 11 now!!! She is the youngest of all of us kids and since I am the oldest I get to remember how they were when they were little. I wanted to post a picture of her as a baby but all of mine are actual pictures and my scanner is not working so I settled on this cute on from Christmas.

Disneyland

We had a great time at Disneyland. We even saw Jack Sparrow and Will Turner!!!! They have turned Tom Sawyer Island into the Pirates Lair. It ws a lot of fun to go over and play for a while.

We went on Pirates of the Carribean only twice I normally go on it at least 3 times...I love that ride!!!

Why me???

So we had a great time at Disneyland and I will post some pictures soon. I have come down with a cold and have been misserable all week. I need a Vacation!!!!!

Disneyland

Well since tomorrow is my birthday, we are going to Disneyland for the day!!!!! I hope that it is not to hot there or to busy. I am exicted to take my new camera and take lots of pictures!!!

'Do you know how they make these gloves?' he asked.
'No, I don't,' she replied.

'Well,' he spoofed, 'there's a building in Canada with a big tank of latex and workers of all hand sizes walk up to the tank, dip in their hands, let them dry, then peel off the gloves and throw them into boxes of the right size.'

American Idol

We actually watched american idol last night after weeks of boring music that we just could not get into. I can not believe that John Travolta Jr. (Jason Castro, take away the dreads and he loks like a young John Travolta) forgot some of the words!!!! He is most definatly going home tonight I know a lot of people like the young boy, david arcualetta or whatever his name is I call him Lip Licker since he licks his lips while he is singing, anyway he will probably win but I can not stand him. Hiss voice reminds me of Kermit the Frog, I have nothing against Kermit either but this boy sounds like him. I did read somewhere today that it does not matter what he sings, he can fart and the judges would love him. I have a feeling that he will win and if he does then I know that american Idol is fixed. I really want David Cook to win because he changes the songs and makes them his own. Anyway I posted the video of Jason Castro screwing up, he did good other than forgetting the words.

Why I support our Troops

I was finally able to talk to my friend Denise this morning. She is in the Army and is currently in New Jersey preparing to be depolyed to Iraq and she just let me know that she leaves on Friday. I am so tired of all of those people out there who say that we should not be sending troops to Iraq. I agree maybe we should not send them, but while we are we need to support them. Denise has already been to Iraq before and now this time we have 2 friends being deployed at the same time. Our good friend Rich is currently in Kuwait. I am lucky to be able to have email access with him as he will be staying in Kuwait. Denise does have an army email so I can email her but there is no telling when she will be able to check her email. I know that I am just rambling on, but please support our troops and pray for their safe return!!

Life is Short

This morning I recevied a call from my best friend Julie in Bakersfield. She called to let me know that her Husband Jose's little brother passed away yesterday. They believe it may have been alchol poisioning but they are not sure yet. This just reminds me that life can be short and we need to enjoy every minute of it.

Mondays

Does anyone else hate Mondays??? Yes I know I work from home, I don't have to deal with the traffic or going to the office. But it's Monday and I still have to deal with all of the phone calls and emails that came over the weekend. I can't believe that it is already almost 1 and I have not taken a lunch break yet and I am ready to pull my hair out!!!

Friday!!!

Well it is finally Friday. I have completed my work and am now waiting for the phone to ring or emails to come over. I spent my lunch break cleaning my bathroom since I noticed how dirty it was this morning. I am doing some laundry...need to get it all done. I am watching Survivor Australia because I need to keep my mind busy. At least today is Friday and I don't have to work tomorrow.

What age am I????

The other day I was talking to someone (don't remeber who I was talking to) and for some strange reason I could not remember how old I was or will be in 9 days. How sad is that??? Maybe I am working to much and that has stalled my brain. Someone might say wait you work from home, how can you work to much. Well my work phone has rang no less than 50 times today and it's only 12:30 and I am behind on answering emails by 2 days because I have been doing many things that I did not do when I worked at the office. I did get to go on a field trip this morning. I got a call that they guys who took over our old office received a package for us so I got to go pick it up. It was so werid to see another company in the office that I worked at for 5 years. When we left we sold them most of the desks and my old desk is still there in the same place being used by someone else. Our name was no longer on the front door...it was werid.
