Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

Today is my Mom's birthday! It is also her wedding anniversary, yep she got married on her birthday. This is a picture of the card I sent her. They have 6 cats and I was laughing when I saw this because I could just imagine one of her cats doing this!

Foot Update

So I have had a lot of pain from the cortisone shot and I found out it is a side effect from it called a cortisone flare or something like that. The pain should go away in a few days and then we will see how well the shot worked.

I need to post pictures from when the twins were here but I also need to download my camera. Hopefully I can get to that this weekend. We are doing a chairty bowling saturday night called Bowling for Boobs. Jeremy is going to bowl for me since I don't trust my foot yet. Anyway watch for pictures soon!

What was I thinking?

I had the cortisone shot in my foot this afternoon. He said there was numbing stuff in the shot that should last 5 to 7 hours. Well at hour 4 that stuff started to not work anymore and my foot hurts a lot now!!! I get to deal with this pain for 24 to 48 hours and then I will hopefully feel better soon. I go back next friday and may get a second shot. Yep this wasn't my smartest idea.

Foot happenings.....

I saw a real foot doctor last week and he thinks what I have going on is a joint issue. The mri I had done was clear enougj for him so the options were to get another better mri or a cortisone shot. I am not sure if my insurance will approve a second mri and I still have to pay my co payment ($250) for the first mri and I really don't want another one. I talked to my boss about it and a bunch of other people and they all agree that I should get the shot and see if that helps. So after much delibration I am getting the cortisone shot next week and if it doesn't help then I will have to do another mri.

Over the weekend my sister in law (Mychele) and the twins were here. I got off work at noon on Friday and we went to the beach. We spent saturday and sunday at the fair. Jon couldn't come down because he had to work, which sucked because we would like to see him too! I will post some pictures this week.

Also my youngest brother, Todd turned 16 on sunday. We saw him last night and I forgot to bring my camera!

Happy Birthday....yes I am posting this 2 days late!

Happy Birthday!!!! Jeremy's birthday was on the 5th. I am posting this late because I have been really busy with work and he has been really busy with work too. He actually had to work all night on his birthday so we didn't get to do anything. Tonight we had dinner with my dad and family and tomorrow we were going to go to Universal Studios but we are going to the fair instead. I can't believe I got him to agree to go to the fair. He hates going there, but I really want to go and I really want to spend time with him since I didn't see him much this week.

Happy Birthday Big Guy (as Evann called him when she first meet him forever ago)!!!! Sorry your birthday sucked again this year. Next year will be better!!!

More fog

Its so foggy today I couldn't see very far down the street! What happened to summer? Not that I'm complaining since I don't like it when its hot! But it might be nice to see the sun for a few minutes.

World of Color
