Disneyland....not urgent care

Anyone remember this from Captain EO??? I had to get this shirt at Disneyland because I loved it!! They brought back Captian EO earlier this year and everytime i have seen it since it is always packed. Hopefully they will keep it around for a long time. It is the Michael Jackson 3D show. Pretty fun to watch it and remember seeing it a long time ago with my dad.
So Disneyland was fun on Saturday. Not really hot but kind of crowded. I went with Emily and our good friend Kelly. Jeremy was going to go but after having to work all last weekend he wanted to do nothing. I forced them to go on the merry go round with me.

And watched Captain EO!!! Emily has never seen it and was confused by it. Kelly and I and the rest of the audience were excited!! Michael Jackson was so young when this was made back in 1986. So if you are planning a trip to Disneyland you must go see Captain EO! Its a trip down memory lane. We also saw the new World of Color show at California Adventure. I will post some pictures from that tomorrow!

Kelly and Emily waiting for Captain EO to start. We had a wonderful time even though thanks to cal trans and their freeway work it took almost 4 hours to get home!! They were working on the 5 and it was down to one lane for part of the trip home. It took almost an hour to go one mile!!!

A new friend.....

This is Molly and this very cute little dog showed up on my dad's porch one morning about 2 weeks ago. They tried to find the owener but we are thinking that they abandoned her. She is about 4 months old according to the vet and has pretty much moved in and made herself at home. She is very sweet and loves when you sit on the floor so she can climb into your lap. She has really big paws and we think she will be a pretty big dog so I don't know how long the lap thing will last!!

She loves to chew on her own tail and everyone else too. She will play with you and then turn around and try to chew on you. It gets very annoying!!

She is very loveable and very friendly. We think she might be an english pointer but we are not sure yet. She has deffinatly moved it and loves everyone. Right now she stays pretty much in the living room and a baby gate keeps her away from the cats, they don't like her very much. Friday we were in the kitchen eating dinner and she started whinning because she was alone and could hear us but couldn't see us. She found a bag of tortilla chips that someone left in the living room and had it torn open and chips all over the place very quickly. I forgot how much destruction puppies cause!!!

Sunshine

Since its nice and warm out I decided to sit in our driveway and enjoy some sun. My feet are looking pretty white this summer since I am spending 5 days a week at a desk now. I sure wish I had summers off! Hope everyone had a good weekend! Jeremy has had to work at the citrus festival in santa paula all weekend and won't be home until after midnight tonight. Its been kind of lonely around here. The dog is mad because he is not home and its to hot for her to want to run around and play. She has spent the whole weekend sleeping in front of a fan. I sure wish we had air conditioning! I need to do laundry so I have clean work clothes but its to got to turn the washer and dryer on right now. So I will be spending sunday night washing clothes since it will be cooler once the sun goes down.

Next weekend we are going to head to disneyland! Emily got a ticket for her birthday so we get to take her. I checked the weather and it shows it should be about 80 on saturday which shouldn't be to bad. Hopefully it won't be insanely busy!

Movie Review- Leap Year

We rented the movie Leap Year yesterday. It was a very good girl movie. It had a cute love story and it made me laugh. Also it takes place in Ireland so it had a lot of nice scenery. Its one I will watch again I really enjoyed it. It also makes me really want to take a trip to Ireland!!!

Happy Birthday Emily

I am a day late!! Emily turned 18 on Friday. She is an adult now, it makes me feel really old!!!! I was going to post some pictures but I need to download my camera and I am to tired to do it now. We went out to dinner at Black Angus, which was super yummy and the waiters sang to Emily. Of course she was embrassed, but we all thought it was funny.

Fireworks!!

We went to Ojai this year for fireworks. It was a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures of the fireworks. A lot of mine came out blurry. I think it may be time to start saving up for a really good camera. Hope everyone else had a great day!!! Now my 3 day weekend is over and tomorrow its time to go back to work. I really could use one more day off.

Wipeout!!!

Yes they have made wipeout for the wii!!! We love watching this show. Its always funny to watch people compete for money and fall off of things and now we get to play it in our living room with out getting hurt! Yep we are wild and crazy people!!!

We did go to the movies last night (friday night) and saw the A-Team it was really funny. A little unbelieveable in some parts but still funny. This morning we went and saw Eclipse (the 3rd twilight movie) I like it much better than the second one. So far we don't have any other plans for this 3 day weekend. We wil probably go watch fireworks tomorrow night. I wanted to rent hot tub time machine but blockbuster is out of it!
