Sponsers Wanted...

HAHAHA more like sponsers needed. It is now summer time and we really want to get out of town but because I still have not found a job we do not have the extra money to go anywhere. Meghan wants us to visit her in Tahoe for her 21st birthday and we always go camping with my dad before the kids go back to school. So we are looking for someone to sponser our summer trips. If we make it Tahoe we will have to find someone to dog sit since we can't take her with us, but if we go camping we can take her and just need someone to feed the monsters, I mean cats. Ah the joys of summer vacations. How come there is never enough money?

In other news apparently this Friday there is going to be a public viewing of Michael Jackson's body at his Neverland ranch. Well at least that is what the family wants to do but the Santa Barbara County Sheriff is trying to decide if it can be done. They should just make it easier on everyone and show his body on tv so it can be seen by those who want to see it and then there will not be millions of people driving through Ventura to get to the ranch and clogging up the freeways.

Where was I when Elvis died? I can't remember because I was 2, but I will always remember where I was when i found out Michael Jackson died. I was sitting on the floor in my dad's bathroom playing with 9 baby kitties (yes 9...we are cleaning them, making them friendly and finding them homes).

What a day yesterday was. When I read about Farrah Fawcett I had to wonder probably like almost everyone else did who was going to be number 3. Then a few hours later bam...Michael Jackson dies!!

I am sure a lot of people are glad that he is gone because of all the child abuse issues. But I am going to miss his eccentric dress and his wonderful music. I grew up in the 80's with his music, I loved it. I know that at one point in time I had a Michael Jackson shirt, I think it was given to me by one of my aunts. I know that I wore it so much that it got thin and had a lot of holes. He had some great songs back then and his moonwalking and crotch grabbing dancing was the greatest. I truley do hope that he is remembered for all of the good that he did and not all of the bad stuff.

Farrah Facwett's passing was not a shock as it had been coming for days. I am glad that she is no longer suffering.

Disneyland with Meghan...

While Meghan was here we went to Disneyland. She needed a Mickey fix. Anyway she wanted to get her picture taken with Mary Poppins, but Mary was being a bratt and said no because they had to get ready for a show so we improvised and got this picture. We went on pretty much everything they wanted to ride. It was a very busy day though and we found out later that it was sold out. This is Meg and Ryan in line for Pirates.

We went on the Jungle Boat Cruise and almost got eaten by a hippo.

And we took pictures of each other on the Matterhorn.

A Special Day...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!!!!!!

Happy Father's Day to my dad, mt stepdad, my uncles and to my grandpa who I miss very much!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

IRS Strikes again!

Last night we got a letter from the IRS stating that we owe them more money. Back in November the IRS empited our bank account to pay off what we owed for 2007 and now they want another $316. I have spent thet past hour on the phone only to be told that they did not get every penny that we owed and we still had a balance of $85. Ok so it went from $85 to $316 well yeah because of penalties and interest. Why wait so long to notify us that we still owed money, well because they don't notify you until about 6 to 7 months after because thats just their procedure. So we can set up a payment plan and be charged another $105 for that or just pay it off in 60 days. I choose the 60 day option and I can send in as much as I want. She even told me that if I wanted to I could send them $2 a day. I am reallt tempted to do that send them a check for $2.00!! I wonder if they would cash it.

Theresa's ALS Graduation

And finally I have created a monster. After her graduation we went to get some coffe at Coffee Bean and Theresa got what she calls a chocolate coffee. Which is just a pure chocolate, kind of like a milk shake and it has no coffee in it. But then over the weekend she wanted to go get more coffee!!

Cloudy...

My mom bought me the book Cloudy with a Chand of Meatballs when I was a kid and I loved the book! In fact I loved it so much that I bough tit for Travis a few years ago. Anyway this fall there is now the movie version of the book. I am sure that it will be completely different but I am still super excited especially since I found out that it will be in 3-D!! Can you imagine meatballs falling from the sky? I am counting the days until this movie comes out. I am also super excited for Where the Wild Things are which will be another post just for that.

So if you havent read this book, go check it out. It is super cute and funny. There was a sequel to it called Pickles to Pittsburg. I am going to have to go buy both of these books now.

Theresa

So tomorrow (Thursday) Theresa graduates from ASL (Assitance League who has been helping with her speach). This will be her second graduation as she had one at Tutor Time last Friday. I will post pictures from both events tomorrow or Friday. I do have to say that she is one very excited little girl. She gets to start kidnergarten in the fall.

Disneyland pictures from my birthday

I forgot to post some of my Disneyland pictures from my birthday.

First we learned how not to dress when visiting Disneyland. We saw these 2 girls quite a few times that day!!

I really wanted to play with the giant Etch A Sketch but it is blocked off and the nice DIsney employees yell at you if you touch it.
We found proof that there is still pay phones in this world !

We both love Big Thunder Mountain and we even got to sit in the back!

I love that there is real ducks throughout Disneyland!

Anyway we had lots of fun and were done with pretty much everything we wanted to do by noon. We even left to come back home at 2. It was a quick trip for us.

Pouring rain in June! It's raining even harder now!!

Where did May go???

How can it be June already?? I am still stuck in May. I am not ready for the heat of summer. I am ready for winter though. I wish it would rain and clean up the outside. So what did we do in May? I went to Disneyland twice. Once with Jon, Mychele and the boys and then I went on my birthday. We went to a wedding that Jeremy was in. And I think that is all we did. I have one Disneyland trip planned in June. I am going on the 15th hopefully with Meghan while she is here for a short visit. We do have a wedding to go to towards the end of June, but nothing else is planned for this month so far. Oh wait I almost forgot that Theresa is graduating from Tutor Time this Friday! I will have to take pictures of that.
