Moveable Knee Cap

I slipped on something in my house a few weeks ago and my knee has been bothering me ever since. It has gotten to where I can't sleep very well at night. Jeremy dragged me to the doctors last night to see what the problem was. The doctor has me pull up my pant legs to check out my knee and compare it with the other one and I look down and realize boy I should have shaved my legs before going. But then I thought about it and what doctor has not seen hairy legs? He proceeds to play with my sore knee and tells me that my knee cap "is very laxative" Now I am thinking what the hell does that mean. Isn't a laxative something to take to help you go to the bathroom?WHat does going to the bathroom have to do with a sore knee? Well in this case laxative meant that my knee cap moves around a lot and he wants to know if I have ever popped my knee cap out of joint. I tell him not that I know of. So he proceeds to pull on my leg and twist it and turn it and then tells me that I have sprained my knee all the while I am thinking that if was not srained before I got there then it deffinalty was now with all of the twisting he did to it. I was told to take 4 aleeve a day for the next 1 to 2 weeks and was given a prescription for Vicodin to help ease the pain. Once we got back in the car I realized that my knee now hurt about 10 times more that it had before I went in there. I am still trying to figure out if it worth the $35 copay to be seen at the Urgent care to be told to take Aleeve. At least I know why my knee hurts.

Don't you hate it when doctors perscribe you medicine that is on the shelf. They're geniuses.
