I am proud to say that I passed both of my classes. I ended up with a B in each one. I am now enjoying the winter break before I start 4 new classes. I think it's going to be more difficult this time since I must find a job. Jeremy wants me to only work part time so I can concentrate on school but I am worried about keeping the bills paid. I am hoping I can find a part time job that will pay me enough to only work part time.

11 year anniversary
Saturday was our 11 year anniversary. We didn't do much durning the day except go fight the crowds at kohls so I could exchange some boots I bought for the correct size. We did go to bandits for dinner and both felt it was a waste of money. They have changed a lot of their food and it sure wasn't worth the new expensive prices! Next year we will just stick with going to Dominick's for dinner.
In other news it is my last week of school for this semester. I have 2 English tests and a final in economics to take this week. After that I have 3 weeks off before starting up again. Next semester I am taking 4 classes. I hope I will be able to stay on top of my homework!

School is tough!
I thought High School was hard, College classes are pretty hard especially when you haven't taken any classes in 20 years! I got a B on my first economics mid term and have a second one in 2 weeks. The English class is a little easier, but I am having to study extra for the tests I have for that class because I tend to forget things easily.
I have not had any luck finding a job and am feeling a bit discouraged. I need to find something really soon otherwise we aren't going to be able to keep the bills paid much longer. I would really like to be able to go to school full time for a while but we cant afford for that to happen right now. I am trying to find grants to apply for but I am not having much luck. I am tempted to go apply for a student loan through Ventura College but I am afraid that their interest rate might be really high. Maybe I should buy some lottery tickets and hope that we can win enough money to pay the bills for a while so I can concentrate only on school.

School has begun!
School started on Monday even though I only have 2 classes I feel like I have a lot to do. I have been reading chapter one of the Economics book today and plan on getting through that this week. I have a test on the first 2 chapters on the 4th. I also have homework due on the 5th for my English class. I need to make myself a calendar for the month so I don't forget when things are due. Maybe I will do that tonight before I go to bed. I had to take a quiz on the syllabus for the English class and I only missed one question!

School starts Monday!
With school starting Monday I can't help but be a little worried. I am really hoping that I can pass both classes I am taking. I really wanted to take America history but it was full. I ended up taking business English and principles of macroeconomics. I am worried about the English class since I hated English in high school. I ordered my books for that class yesterday and just today found out what book I need for the economy class. With not having been in school in 20 years (yes it's really been that long) I am hoping that I can get used to studying and doing homework pretty quickly. I really wish that we could win the lottery so I could just go to school full time and get it over with.

Goodbye Blockbuster
Hello Redbox. We have decided to cancel our blockbuster membership. I was getting tired of paying $20 a month and never getting the movies we wanted. We rented 3 movies from redbox and only paid $3.87! Blockbuster rentals are $3.99 at the store, plus we only have one blockbuster in Ventura. The online blockbuster was great when we had 3 stores. We could take the ones we got in the mail directly to the store and get another movie for free. Now that we only have one store they never have any movies in stock.

A mini vacation
I am on a mini vacation. I drove up to Vacaville on Monday to see Jeremy's mom and brother in law and sister in law and nephews. The rest of the family came up on Saturday but I had stuff to do Monday morning and couldn't come up until then. It is super hot up here. Today was supposed to be 110 but it didn't feel that hot considering we spent part of the day in the pool. Jeremy couldn't come up with me since he has to work. We did have Todd come over and stay with my dog while Jeremy is at work. She is on a pretty tight potty schedule and Jeremy works a double on wednesday so someone has to be there to let her out.
I took a few pictures of the kids swimming today and need to take some more in the next few days. I will be driving back home on Friday and I can't wait to feel my cold ocean air.
