This is my favorite picture I took of the Golden Gate Bridge on Sunday. I was able to download my camera but I am way to tired to go through all the pictures tonight.
Today Travis turned 10 years old!! We called him tonight to tell him Happy Birthday and apparently he was in an odd mood because he said Happy Birthday to you too. I asked him if I got anything good for my birthday and he said no. This picture was taken at his birthday party last weekend at Skating Plus. Hard to believe this kid is 10 now!!
While driving up north on friday we saw the google car on the freeway and then somehow we ended up at the same gas station as them. We had a great time and the twins had fun at their birthday party. Its hard believe that they will be 6 next Saturday. Travis turns 10 tomorrow.
We did go see the Golden Gate Bridge on the way home today. I took lots of pictures that i now need to download. Hopefully i will get to that tomorrow. For now its bedtime!
On Friday we bought our Christmas tree. I like to have lots of lights on mine so last year i decided to add one of my strings of leg lamp lights (you know the leg lamp from a christmas story). Anyway i have another strand of these lights (thanks Aunt Heather!) and am going to hang those up too this year. I finally put some decorations on the tree yeaterday, but it has had lights since friday. What weird things do you put on your tree?
Sugar cookies arent just for Christmas anymore. We like to start early and make them for Halloween too. This year we did bats, cats and pumpkins. They sure did taste good.

My dad's dog thinks she is a lap dog, even though she is the size of a moose. She is also very clumsy and seems to trip over her big feet.
I bought the newest pirates movie the day it was released. This one was funny and entertaining (just like the others). If you havent watched it yet you should. Its set before the other 3 and has zombies and creepy mermaids. I may have to put it in now and watch it.
I found this redneck halloween costume the other day. The hat has long hair coming out of the back possibly to remind people of a mullet. Anyway i thought it was pretty funny, not $15 funny, but funny none the less. I do not have a costume this year. I should find something since monday is halloween and i am going trick or treating. Travis has promised me his butterfingers and i am trying to get Theresa to make the same promise. This weekend we are carving pumpkins, well they are helping clean them out and i get to carve them. Now i just need them to pick easy designs.
A giant freaking moth!! Well at least thats what we think it was. This moth or rat with wings was found on the floor of Jeremy's moms laundry room tonight. Theresa kept telling us there was a big moth but we didnt really pay attention to her. I went to go outside and saw it sitting there. Thinking it was dead i went to put my foot next to it to take a picture and the damn thing moved. I jumped and ran back into the house and told Jeremy to get rid of it. He tried to get it out and it didnt want to leave. He finally got it out and it just laid there in the driveway. Creepy looking thing.
Theresa got a real manicure over the weekend. She had her nails trimmed and got an arm massage and her nails painted pink. This kid loves being a girl!
This morning to woke up at about 5:30 to what sounded like pouring rain. I didnt look outside or anything i just went back to bed. I got up around 8 to feed the cat and it was dry outside so i thought i was just dreaming that it was raining. A few minutes later the thunder started and then it waa pouring rain. It fell so hard it sounded like hail. The rain only lasted about 10 minutes but thw thunder hung around for a few hours. Now its really cold and cloudy out and smells like rain. Maybe we will get more rain tonight!!
Oxnard can be interesting some days. I was driving on Rose and saw this poor dude. Someone didnt tie his load down very well. He tried to turn right and his barrels fell off.
I was at the mall last weekend and i saw a hurricane simulator. Yes you can pay money to expirence a hurricane. Doesnt that sound like fun? I have to wonder who came up with this idea. Do malls back east have earthquake simulators?
We saw this van on the freeway a few weeks ago. At first i was trying to figure out what was on top of and then i realized it was naked manaquin torsos. In the back window we could see the arms and legs and in the side window was all the heads. It was really weird and creepy!
Emily and i tried to go to the beach today for a nice relaxing summer day and it started to rain! It wasnt just a sprinkle either. It was big fat drops and it got cold and windy. My dad said he saw that we are supposed to have thunder storms this weekend. If that happens we will have some crazy weather!
Today is my sisters 19th birthday. I am not sure how she got so old. We went to sizzler for dinner and they sang to her and made her wear this silly hat. Of course i took the picture with my phone and i was sitting next to her so its not the greatest picture but at least i got one.

Next we drove up the 33 and came across this waterfall on the side of the road. We were able to walk to it since it was about 30 feet from the side of the road.
Theresa is ready to learn how to drive. They want to start learning so early now days.
We went for a drive yesterday up to ojai and the mountains beyond. I am going to download my camera tomorrow and will post pictures of the things we saw.
My mom sent me a target gift card for my birthday with instructions to buy something fun. Well what could be more fun than a movie about love and garden gnomes? Well there is probably a lot of things more fun but i really wanted this movie. Thanks mom for my birthday present!
This movie was awesome!! I loved every second of it and really want to go see it again as soon as possible. We made the right decision by going to the 1010 am showing this morning. There was about 20 people in the theater. There was a few small kids but they were very quiet. When we went to see fast five some people had a baby and the kid screamed for part of the movie and they didnt bother to take the kid out of the theater, it was very annoying. I did enjoy pirates very much. I liked it better than the second and third ones.
We went and bought our tickets to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean this weekend. I love the first 3 movies and am super excited to see this one. We are going to see if at the imax theater which is not cheap, but we had a $25 gift certificate that we won in a raffle at a bowling for boobs fundraiser so it is only costing us $9!!! Cheaper than paying for 2 tickets to a normal movie. Captain Jack Sparrow here we come!!!!
