Reality TV

I love reality tv. I love watching people make complete asses of themselfes on national tv. Tonight Hells Kitchen started again. This is one of the better shows. I also watch Big Brother and can't wait for Survivor to start again!! Yes I watch to much tv. Being stuck at home I am watching even more tv and daytime tv sucks!!

Nothing else new here. Just hoping my foot will get better soon. I am tried of trying to stay off of it and am getting bored sitting around.

Foot Update...

I decided to research some more on my foot issue and from what I read it can take 6 to 8 weeks to heal!! I don't have the patience to stay off of it for that long, it has been a week already and I am going crazy. I did way to much on it yesterday and lost my footing in the shower this morning and so now it hurts even more! So I have spent today on the couch watching boring tv, reading a book and coloring. I am hoping that tomorrow I can at least get up and get some laundry done. Jeremy has had to work all weekend he has been gone from like 10am until after midnight so I have been on my own. Tomorrow I am going to have an exciting day of paying car insurance and other bills and then we will be broke again until payday and then we get to pay more bills. Why does it never seem to end?

Friday July 10th

For Emily's birthday she was given 2 tickets to Universal Studios and guess who got to take her, yep thats right me!! This is a long post with a lot of pictures so bear with me.

We did the tram tour first and got to see some sound stages. Next it was on to the robot arm cars. They did an explosion and then the cars dance around. It was pretty neat to watch.

Then it started to rain and we got hit with a big flood. Hollywood magic is so much fun!

Then we got to part the water and go through it. Our car did have water come through the floor and my feet got wet!

This fountain is in all of the old monster movie. I thought it was neat looking and really wanted to take it home with me.

Jaws tried to eat us. I couldn't believe that he was actually working the first 2 times I went it had not been working.

We even got to see the plane crash area from the War of the World movie.

We went on the Jurassic Park water ride twice and of course I was drenched, but since it was so darn hot it felt good.

We tried out the new Simpson ride which replaced the Back to the Future ride. Surprisingly it was a lot of fun.

Emily would not put her head in the sharks mouth so I made her stand next to it.

We watched a show of animal stars. This guy was my favorite!

And of course we had to watch the Waterworld show. I hope that they never get rid of this one. It is the best!!

We had a pretty good day. I would very much like to go back again. The only bummer part was my left foot started hurting when we got there and just kept getting worse throughout the day. By the time we got home I could not walk on it. So on Sunday we went to the urgent care and they took xrays to see if I had a stress facture, which I don't however it was determined that I tore a ligament in my foot. So now I am stuck at home keeping off of it as much as possible and trying to figure out how to properly use the crutches. Now you may ask how this happened and the only thing that I can figure out thanks to my mom is that I wore flip flops on Friday with to much walking in them. My mom said that had heard about girls going to the doctors with foot problems and it is linked to wearing flip flops!! So next time I go somewhere where I will be doing a lot of walking I will not be wearing flip flops. I should hopefully be healed in 2 to 3 weeks. But for now I am stuck at home being bored watching way to much tv and reading some books.

Happy Birthday Emily!!

Today my sister turns 17. Wow that is scarey. She is not supposed to be 17 yet. That just means that I have been out of high school for 16 years. Here are 2 pictures of this bratt child. Not sure what I am going to get her for her birthday yet. I guess I should go out and find something for her.

Fair Concerts...

The fair will be here in a month! I love going to the concerts and seeing people that I would normally not see or seeing people like REO Speedwagon, who were there 2 years ago. This year there is 3 concerts I really want to go to.

First Huey Lewis and the News will be there on Friday 8/7. I have to wonder though if they are trying to come out with new music or just doing fair concerts to keep their music alive. On Tuesday 8/10 is Rick Springfield. I know his one song, Jesse's Girl. Did he have any other popular songs? Ok maybe this one I don't really care about.

However I really want to see David Cook, my favorite American Idol winner!! Wow is he really coming to our fair? He is playing on Wednesday the 11th, at least I hope that is the date.

We also have our normal nights of country music, but none have jumped out at me as ones that I must see. Unlike last year when Trace Adkins was there. So now I get to pick which concert I am going to go see. I will probably only go to one to save money. I think I am leaning towards David Cook.

Goodbye Fridge...

Our fridge passed away this weekend!! We had to go buy a new one and I realized that I hate appliance shopping!! We really wanted to get a black fridge but we would have had to wait a week for it to come and I did not want to live out of a cooler for a week so we got a white one. It is a whirlpool side by side with an ice maker! It will be delivered tomorrow so I should be able to go grocery shopping on Tuesday. Yeah we will be able to eat once again! What I can't figure out is why these things always happen when you do not have any money.

WOW

So I was going to post a picture of the casket that Michael Jackson is going to be buried in but it felt pretty morbid. You can find the picture on TMZ.com. It's a pretty shiney casket with blue interior and it costs $25,000. Apparently it's the same kind that James Brown was buried in. Good news for us there will not be a memorial or public viewing of Michael at Neverland Ranch. Now apparently the funeral will be held at Staples Center and will most likely be on TV. I can't believe I am going to say this but yes I am going to watch it. I am also contemplating driving up to Neverland Ranch and checking it out. I know what I am thinking? Well I figure that when I have kids they will not know who he was but will probably know all of the things he was accused of and I think it would be neat to have some pictures of the outside of the ranch with all the flowers and notes that are there. Yes I am crazy!!

Well it's past my bedtime. I am getting up around 5:30 tomorrow to head to Disneyland for a few hours. Maybe Disneyland will now bring back the Captian EO show.
