Dodger Game

I went to the Dodger game on Saturday and we got to sit in the field level seats. Plus it was fireworks night so we even got to touch the grass on the field.

This is Travis and Theresa on the field in front of the seats.

This is the view we had from our seats before it got crowded. Once it was crowded it was a little hard to see the game.

The game was sold out. Can you believe that????????????????

OHHHH Fireworks. The fireworks show was great, it was set to 80's music!! I should have brought the video camera. Miss Theresa passed out in the car before we even left the parking lot. We had a great time. The game went into overtime, there was 11 innings. I will post more fireworks later. I only took about 100 pictures that night.

Movie Review

We just finished watching The Ruins. I loved the book, however the movie creeped me out. I am so glad that we rented the movie we almost bought it but I don't think I could watch it a second time. If you have not read the book it is definatly worth reading unless you are planning a trip to Mexico anytime soon, then read it when you get back. The movie had great special effects but was a little to bloody for me.

First 2 days

How have I spent my first 2 days of unemployement??? I have been a nice auntie and have taken Theresa from Tutor Time to her speach school in Oxnard on Wednesday and Thursday and we have been to visit Jeremy at work and have gone to Target and yesterday we went to the beach.

This is a picture of our feet in the sand. Theresa was a little scared of the water but liked to play in the sand.

When we left the harbor and were driving around a corner all of a sudden I hear Theresa say "Boing I fell over". Of course I started cracking up. We really need to write a book of funny things that kids say.

Last Day

For those of you who do not know yet, today was my last day at work. My company has decided to shut down entirely. I have no idea what I am going to do next (except look for a job). I loved working from home. If anyone knows of a company that you can work from home for let me know or if anyone knows who is hiring let me know also.

4th of July...

Tomorrow is the 4th of July. I have always loved this holiday. When I was a kid we used to go to a block party every year with my mom's family and we always played games like volleyball and kick the can (kind of like hide n seek but you had to kick the can to be safe) and there was always our own fireworks show. Now that I am an adult the only traditional thing we do now is to go to the street fair and then go watch fireworks at night. I need to start a new tradition but I can't think of any to start. This year Jeremy actually has the day off. So I am going to the street fair while he sits at home and plays video games or watches tv and then we will go watch fireworks tomorrow night.

Happy 4th of July to everyone!!!
